The Bratz Leapster Software is designed to help teach important math skills for 3rd and 4th graders. This game will make learning math a "thrill ride!" and help build on a few other skills as well.
When one Bratz girl, Sasha, is cruising down the slopes on her snowboard, multiplication and division problems will be presented. These problems are different every time. The Bratz snowboarder is rewarded when solving them correctly. This will strengthen those math skills in a fun way because learning basic math requires lot’s of practice and repetition.
There will be some really cool stuff to learn with text messages. Your child will help the Bratz girls make sense of the their text messages. The messages will have spelling and grammar mistakes that need to be corrected. Correcting spelling errors helps children to develop their visual memory skills.
The Bratz characters will be traveling to many places in the United States and around the world. Your child will be learning geography. These lessons help children learn about the earth, its people, different climates, and the physical features of the land.
After different levels are played, the player will have built up an amount of "fashion cents" or reward points. This is when they will get to help out with the "Passion for Fashion" show. The reward points will be used to unlock a Bratz girl, a background, and an outfit for the fashion show.
The Leapster Bratz game is a great educational value. When learning is fun, it will keep a child’s interest in wanting to learn. Studies show that children learn through repetition. The lessons are re-enforced, as your child plays a game like this, over and over again.
